Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Intellectual Property Policy explains how intellectual property rights are handled in connection with the website and the video production and content preparation services provided by Myrelix Korvique Studio ("the Studio", "we", "us", or "our"). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and with the accepted proposal for each project, which may contain project-specific terms that prevail in the event of a conflict.
1. Studio and website content
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including text, layout, design, graphics, illustrations, logos, and code, are owned by or licensed to the Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute site content without our prior written permission, except as necessary for ordinary browsing.
2. Client-supplied materials
You retain ownership of the materials you provide to us, including footage, images, audio, scripts, logos, and brand assets. By providing these materials, you grant the Studio a limited license to store, edit, adapt, and incorporate them for the sole purpose of producing your project. You confirm that you own or hold the necessary rights and permissions for all materials you provide and that our agreed use of them will not infringe the rights of any third party.
3. Ownership of final deliverables
Upon full payment of all fees due for a project, ownership of the final deliverables produced specifically for you transfers to you, except for any third-party or pre-existing elements described below. Until full payment is received, all rights in the deliverables remain with the Studio, and you are not licensed to use draft or final materials.
4. Project files and working assets
Unless expressly agreed in writing, the transfer of final deliverables does not include our project files, editing timelines, source project structures, presets, or working assets. These remain the property of the Studio. If you require native project files, this can be arranged as a separate, quoted deliverable.
5. Third-party and licensed elements
Deliverables may incorporate third-party elements such as stock footage, images, fonts, motion templates, or licensed music. These elements are provided under their own licenses. The rights you receive in such elements are limited to the scope of the underlying license, and full ownership of these elements does not transfer to you. Where a specific license is required for your intended use, this will be identified in your proposal, and any associated cost is your responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
6. Studio tools and know-how
The techniques, methods, workflows, and general know-how the Studio uses to produce work remain ours. Nothing in a project engagement transfers our underlying methods or any tools we develop, even where they are used to create your deliverables.
7. Portfolio and recognition
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the Studio may retain copies of completed work and may reference the fact that we produced work for you. Where a project is confidential, we will honor a written request to keep it private. Any public reference will respect confidentiality terms agreed in your proposal.
8. Respecting the rights of others
The Studio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects clients to do the same. We will not knowingly incorporate infringing material into a project. If you believe that content on our site or in our work infringes your rights, contact us using the details below with enough information to identify the material and the basis of your claim, and we will review the matter promptly.
9. Consequences of non-payment
If fees are not paid in full, any license or transfer of rights that is conditional on payment does not take effect, and continued use of the deliverables is not authorized. We reserve all remedies available to us for unpaid work.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Intellectual Property Policy from time to time. The version in effect when you accept a proposal governs that engagement. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
