Refund Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how Myrelix Korvique Studio ("the Studio", "we", "us", or "our") handles deposits, payments, and refund requests for the video production and content preparation services we provide. Because our work is a custom, service-based engagement rather than the sale of a stock product, refunds are governed by the stage of the project and the work already performed. By engaging the Studio, you agree to the terms set out here.

1. Nature of our services

Every project is produced to order. Time, scheduling, editing labor, software, and creative work are committed as soon as an engagement begins. For this reason, fees are earned as work progresses, and refunds are assessed against the portion of the project that has been delivered or is already in production.

2. Deposits

A deposit is typically required before work begins. The deposit reserves capacity in our schedule and covers pre-production planning and initial setup. Once we have begun work on your project, the deposit is non-refundable to the extent it corresponds to work performed and non-recoverable costs. If you cancel before any work has begun, the deposit may be refundable at our discretion, less any third-party costs already committed on your behalf.

3. Cancellation before delivery

If you cancel a project after work has started but before final delivery, you will be billed for the work completed up to the cancellation date, including any licensed assets, stock media, or third-party services purchased for the project. Any amount you have paid that exceeds the value of completed work and committed costs will be refunded. Any shortfall will be invoiced to you.

4. Revisions versus refunds

Our process includes the revision rounds stated in your accepted proposal. If a deliverable does not match the agreed brief, the appropriate remedy is a revision within the agreed scope, not a refund. We are committed to bringing each deliverable in line with the brief through the revision process. Dissatisfaction with creative preferences that fall outside the written brief is addressed through additional, separately quoted revision rounds rather than refunds.

5. After final delivery

Once a deliverable has been finalized, approved, and delivered, the corresponding fees are considered fully earned and are non-refundable. Final approval indicates that the deliverable met the agreed brief. If a genuine technical fault in a delivered file prevents its intended use, contact us and we will correct the file at no additional charge; this remedy is limited to correcting the fault.

6. Requests outside our control

We cannot offer refunds for delays or outcomes caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including late delivery of materials, delayed feedback or approvals, changes to your requirements after work has begun, or issues with third-party platforms on which you choose to publish. The Studio does not broadcast, distribute, license, or host finished media, and outcomes related to publication are not part of our services.

7. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us in writing using the details below and include your project name, the date of engagement, the amount paid, and the reason for your request. We will review the request against the work performed and respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.

8. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us first to resolve any billing concern before initiating a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and may result in suspension of any ongoing work until the matter is settled.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect when you accept a proposal governs that engagement. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
